Also yeah voting for a sexual predator is kind of an endorsement of sexual predation but the epstein stuff wasn't revealed until this admin and he was campaigning on the files being released so you can't entirely blame the voter base. maybe those who will still make excuses though.

Yes to adult women in terms of power relations and that type of thing. But there was no evidence of any crimes with kids and it was easy for some to look past the adult crimes as a lesser in hopes that he would reveal the romanticized conspiracy of Epstein they were sold. Me personally I always had my feelings about Israel's involvement in this presidency campaign, and didn't like him regardless because of being a RINO in terms of gun rights first term.

I mean yeah, the power relations of like a chick sleeping with her boss still obviously aren't wonderful, sexual harassment like catcalling isn't good either, but neither are anywhere near the level of an adult man sleeping with children. Certainly not virtuous to look over but much more understandable than the framing given
