It really wasn’t him it was mostly just the people around him
the part that i still don’t get is - if he knew he was in the Pedo Files, why did he campaign on releasing them?

It was Epstein and many of Epstein’s friends. Epstein and Trump were friends until 2004.

What’s odd is that he couldn’t get them to shut up about it lmao

I’m saying Trump didn’t campaign on their release. That’s all

I’m convinced this whole thing wouldn’t have happened if Bondi never brought it up in the summer

Confused about what? I never said Trump did anything. I don’t think Trump did anything because the victims have all said in court and national TV he didn’t do anything and I’ve seen no actual evidence Trump did anything. Everyone is just saying the Trump and Epstein being friends until 2004 is the proof

If he didn’t do anything why did they repeatedly censor his name specifically in the files when they were told doing so is illegal?

I can prove that they censored his name specifically by the way, if you like.

The things being redacted is what’s being released to the public. The Democrats, DOJ, courts, etc have access to the unredacted versions

And because Trump cares so much about his public image that he wants to scrub any association with him an Epstein because even if Trump didn’t do anything, him being former friends with Epstein still is a bad look for him and being used against him

So to be clear, you’re saying he committed a federal crime by redacting info that he wasn’t permitted to redact in the Epstein files, but if we had the full unredacted version, we’d see he committed no crime?

What exactly crime did he commit? Name the specific law broken. The authorities have access to the unredacted version, therefore, he didn’t tamper with evidence. Try again.

I didn’t say he tampered with evidence are you stupid? There was a legal order to release the full unredacted Epstein files by the end of Dec 19th 2025. Not redacted for the public but unredacted for lawmakers. Unredacted, with the exclusion of information that could identify victims, for everyone.

The DOJ explicitly said it would be illegal for Trump to redact information for being “politically sensitive”. If he’s doing what you’re saying he’s doing, he’s a criminal. Not that he wasn’t already.

The specific law broken is the Epstein Files Transparency Act
