I mean even if you go with significantly bigger calibers people still use full autos to hunt hogs, it's just a problem of them being invasive and a tendency to have large numbers.

I don’t see why you’d need a full auto weapon when a binary trigger would probably work just as well, especially for large calibers. Full auto isn’t necessarily especially controllable without training/practice, so for most people it wouldn’t necessarily be more effective than a high ROF semi-auto. But yeah, we‘re both in agreement that in this case .22 is just cruel
