Considering you took time to mock my religious views and then claimed to be Christian no I did not start because of Percy Jackson it is a very old belief I have always held so I would appreciate you not assuming I’m larping my religion
Mfs read Percy Jackson one time and think that shit is real

Can you explain your beliefs to me? Genuine question I’ve never heard of someone having those views

I mock your religion because even the Greeks don’t believe in it anymore. It’s merely an aesthetic religion

Oh yeah absolutely I believe in the Greek gods but not the myths those are stories told about the gods but I believe in them in general sort of like Norse paganism how they worship the Norse gods I worship the Greek ones

So what do you believe about the Greek gods then? And what does worshiping them actually look like?

I believe they are real and they effect nature and everything in the world and it can look a few different ways I have an alter which I pray at a lot or I give offerings outside

What led you to belief in these gods specifically? And why not the Norse gods or Egyptian gods or any others? Basically why are these the only gods that are real?

Oh I don’t believe they are the only gods that are real it’s just the pantheon I choose to worship

Not all of the Greeks but it’s still a recognized religion in Greece and is still considered a big part of paganism

But also isn’t it always Christian’s who say, They shouldn’t be mocked for their religion or making fun of Christian’s? So don’t you think you shouldn’t be a hippocrite and extend that to others freedom of religion is extended to all religions not just yours

It’s still a recognized religion I would say Judaism is a minority religion in America does that mean it deserves to be mocked or let’s go even further with bhudism do the people who worship that deserve mockery

Also doesn’t the Bible say judge not lest you be judged, love thy neighbor as thyself so are you going to follow the teachings of Jesus or side with the Pharisees willing to stone the adulterous woman

But it does say the stuff about not being judgmental considering Jesus wasn’t and he wouldn’t mock someone else’s religious views

And just because I’m not a Christian doesn’t mean I deserve mockery and I’m going to assume you do that to anyone who’s not Christian which is one of the reasons Christian’s have the stereotype of being judgmental

And even if you don’t belie it does which your allowed to do is it okay to mock people who belie differently I’m asking if Jesus would accept you doing that or would he call it a sin?

Because again he didn’t judge people and considering how you’re acting I would only assume you would mock Jesus for sitting with sinners or tax collectors right? Because they were different but did Jesus mock them no he didn’t

But again you can’t get upset if someone mocks Christians and turn around and do it to someone else because they believe differently than you. That’s not what your religion is about it’s not about hate or judgement it’s about love

Well he said love thy neighbor as thyself but also he didn’t judge Mary Magdalene, or Mathew so you really think he would be happy of you judging someone else and mocking them? Is that really what Jesus would do?

Nobody’s judging you, you just realize that your “gods” are a joke and you’re getting super defensive about it.
