All of January 6th, I was at work, and some of my coworkers were afraid because they were like “holy shit a mob is trying to overturn the results of an election by storming the Capitol” and my ass was just sitting there like “wait what do you mean they haven’t just been shot?” Prosecution and incarceration is like, the best outcome you can reasonably hope for when you storm the legislature during a transition of power, under any government.

Fascism is when no gun for people you don’t like. The Illinois government can decide to ban you from owning a gun without due process in spite of that clearly going against the second, fifth, and fourteenth amendments. They also limited what kinds of guns we can have even worse than California did. However, they’re fine with cops owning and using whatever guns they want.

THAT Illinois law bans the TYPE of guns you can have, there’s another one that makes you APPLY FOR A GUN LICENSE. It’s fucking mind boggling. Imagine if you needed a license to join a religion or NOT join a religion. Or like how Trump banned certain journos from being in the loop and the SCOTUS just told him to knock it off. Or if you needed a license to get a jury trial and all other times you were just in front of a judge who, in our justice system, has no time to even learn your name.
