I would use more numbers and common sense but that doesn't get through to you I fear

wtf kinda “numbers” justify being a proponent of spending hundreds on tiny ass seats that keep getting smaller. Have you ever been on a flight for longer than like 45 minutes, holy shit. You like being all up in a strangers space? You realize they’ve made the seats smaller over time to maximize profit… right? You’re just a capitalist bootlicker. Imagine arguing AGAINST more comfortable seats 😭

Remember last time when we looked at a cross-country flight and it was 16% more expensive to get a seat with better legroom? Take the same flight, increase each seat 4" of legroom (what the legroom seats have" and take a guess how much more the seats would cost to maintain the same profit margin

You still don’t understand the concept of looking for the deals on flights that are already overpriced…. I don’t even like spend more than a couple dollars choosing a seat. You’re really PRO charging 16% more for below the bare minimum? Stop being a bootlicker bro

I- The increased rate for the better seat options seems to hold across the board. And if you're so good at deals that you find cheap seats with extra legroom then what exactly is your complaint

Im pro cheap seats, if you're pro extra legroom then pay more for your ticket. Most people would rather save money

Dude they made the other seats SMALLER to now charge you extra for what used to be standard, what are you not understanding. Bc they’re more expensive than regular seats?? I’ll suffer for a deal dude, doesn’t mean the situation is humane in the first place 😭

Forcing ppl into uncomfortable seats where they have to be buckled in and can’t move around much for hours bc you want to line the pockets of the ceo and his shareholders isn’t humane dude. Again, they keep making seats smaller…

Flying has gotten cheaper over time, its like one of the only industries that's staying under the rate of inflation. Flying genuinely used to be put of reach for the majority of people

"Forcing" and its a completely voluntary transition btw. Are you anti being buckled in?

You never flown outside of the us, have you. And seen how cheap their airlines are in comparison. Bc they have more regulations

Ryanair seats have 2-3 inches less legroom btw

Ofc I’m not anti buckling in? In most other public seating arrangements, even buses, you don’t need to be buckled. You have more freedom of movement. You’re required to be buckled bc you’re flying. Therefore with that requirement you should have more space bc you’re buckled in and can’t really move except to go to the bathroom. At a concert you can stand up. In a bus you don’t have to be buckled in. In other situations you can move around easily. Not with planes

Yeah I’ve flown Ryanair and they’re notoriously super shitty akin to like spirit airlines 😭 it being a European corporation doesn’t make it less capitalist 😭
