Retweet bc this interaction is actually from here and I find it funny how fast ppl become corporate bootlickers
I find it funny that pretty much everyone complains about how small & cramped airplane seating is but the second you advocate for more inclusive seating/sizing, they’re an airline corporation’s biggest defender 😭 gotta punish those fat ppl for existing!!

So economy means you have to suffer, that’s crazy. This is exactly why we need to nationalize the airline industry so ppl are treated like human beings

Yes, cheaper airline tickets equates to a cheaper experience. If you would like more legroom, get a better ticket

Who’s got money for that… And maybe you have a really long torso and short legs

If you complain so much about legroom but a 16% increase for a cross country flight is too much then maybe just suck it up?

I’d never spend that much on a cross country flight lmao, that’s how much I spent on a round trip ticket to Europe

I would think the price increase is the same across the board

I’m 5’10 and mostly leg, and according to my BMI I’m obese (mostly fat btw I lost my muscles a long time ago bc med school) and I can fit relatively okay in economy seats. It’s not gonna be plush and extravagant bc that’s not what I’m paying for. If I wanted plush and extravagant I’d take my car and drive, but I’m paying for the convenience of being at my destination in a fraction of the time

then why does every person 5’10+ complain about leg space… I’ve literally seen their legs smashed in in person every time I fly? Again maybe you have super short legs & a tall torso You can squeeze in but it’s not pleasant or comfortable at all, esp for long flights. Just bc most can technically squeeze in doesn’t make it a humane experience. And yeah driving across the country alone is gonna cost more than a ticket when you factor in all the hotels you have to get, who has time & $ for that

It’s not plush and extravagant to be able to sit comfortably in a seat that you’re required to be buckled into 😭 that’s bare minimum I fear
