Insane we have Tiananmen Square Deniers. And they call Flat Earthers crazy 😔

ittibittikitti

A massacre that famously did not happen. No one was killed in the square. Fighting with police did break out blocks away, though, and the only people who clashed with the police were part of a failed US color revolution. (Cont. in comments)

From what I understand, not many people were actually killed inside the square itself , but many people did die in the surrounding protests

Why don't you do some research yourself instead of showing your ignorance

“Many people” = Hundreds to a couple thousand died , again mostly in surrounding avenues and suburbs

Yes, troops were ordered by the government not to do any violence in the square, and were ordered to occupy the square by any means necessary. There was some violence in Beijing as protestors blocked the troops from reaching the square

Regardless of how you define the geographical boundaries of the massacre you’ll still get people (like the prime specimen below) who deny any killing happened because they just looooooove sucking up to daddy xi

Tank man moment. I suppose many were brave enough to attempt to block the troops. But only one was caught on camera in such an iconic manner.

And obviously he didn’t die because there was a bunch of cameras there

Hundreds to a couple thousands is speculation. What was officially reported is that some violent rioters and “a small number” of bystanders died, as well as troops

There is footage of the event, but they don’t show it because it goes against the narrative that China massacres thousands of people in the square

Well … yeah,,, no shit Chinese official reports say a small number died I suppose we will never know the true number

The footage will instead show both the protestors and the troops singing songs together about how much they love Mao and the Chinese revolution. This isn’t a joke

Sadly true. A lot of it is speculation. The biggest estimate that I saw was one from the BBC that claimed ~10,000 people died

Why would I apologize? Your comment literally has an image that says “no bloodshed inside Tiananmen Square”. That’s denying anyone died.

You should apologize because you 1. Called me a “specimen” which is dehumanizing. And 2. Because immediately after you posted that, I clarified that there was deaths

It is a fact that no bloodshed was inside the square. It was in the surrounding streets of Beijing instead of

Yes it is in the surrounding streets. The “massacre” refers to that massacre that happened near Tiananmen Square even if it was not in the square itself, since that was the hub of the protests.

“Prime Specimen” is an English Phrase used to denote, “an outstanding, flawless, or ideal example of its kind,” which is applicable in context of my comment. So no, in context of my comment, it’s not being used as a dehumanizing phrase and I will not be apologizing for my vocabulary. If you’re still offended, block me or get some thicker skin
