there… wasn’t a presidential election in 2019. and January 6th happened in 2021 so it seems this person would have voted prior to that event.

Jan 6th was a huge blow for me and sat really, really badly but I was still in a place where I was convinced that it wasn’t Trump’s fault and/or it was a false flag by the FBI. Which is insane but there’s a reason I used the word brainwashing earlier. What ultimately did it was actually looking into his history of sexual predation. I had always been locked into the idea that it was just lies/propaganda and when it became clear that belief was unsustainable the rest came crashing down quickly.

i was in thissame boat with my family, they convinced me, before i became the political leader in the family, that all the j6ers were biden supporters. I never liked trump but they convinced me of that and i love bringing it up to them now. Im so glad you started thinking on your own and coming out of that state, even if you still vote red or what not just glad youre not in the cult following anymore.
