I think Hillary Clinton had it right that about half of them are irredeemable racists and the other half might be persuadable. Half the country voted for him. Not all of those people,are hardcore maga. A lot of them just thought he seemed different, thought he would shake things up, are loyal to the republican party, didn't like clinton etc. you can wag your finger at them and morally lecture them but i think it would be more productive to think about why Trump's campaign resonated w them and wh

No. Of course not. There’s an insanely high number of low information voters that don’t spend much time on the internet. They assumed they were getting 2016 Trump. But 2016 Trump had OG GOP guardrails. This is filtered out to only sycophants Trump and it’s a big difference.

exactly, it makes no sense, irredeemable means they’re lost with no hope, then say “yes, they’re irredeemable unless they redeem themselves” then they wouldn’t be irredeemable? The literacy crisis is absurd

We don’t see them or even believe they exist because we’re so clustered in our bubbles but once you step out and talk to ppl you’ll see how many ppl don’t even know who the VP is. Which, terrifying, yes, but also not irredeemably evil.
