is your assertion that the U.S. is fascist or that the GOP is fascist? pick a stance. and even then, no, republicans aren’t fascists because their ideals and goals center around extreme individualism and selfishness. they are far right populist neoconservatives. there are better ways to criticize their blatantly wrong beliefs than misusing a label in the way they misuse labels like “communist” and “socialist”

yes, and the answer is they barely are. they may incorporate some pieces of the fascist aesthetic but they don’t hold the core beliefs that center a fascist state. it seems like you are taking “fascist” to mean “evil” here, and believe that me saying they’re not fascist means i don’t think they’re bad people, when that is not the case
