So what I’m getting at is hypothetically woman and men should put up with their abusive spouses for the sake of the kids even if that spouse is a danger to said kids?

I think he’s got a point. Divorce especially with children involved only ruins a family and we should start holding married couples up to the standard they gave vows to each other for. If not then what is the point of the words till death do us part.
