Nope. There are plenty of peer-reviewed research demonstrating that children of divorced parents will be more likely to fare better than children of parents who refuse to divorce even when the relationship gets bad

Divorce can be extremely hard on a family, but you can’t expect two people who aren’t in love anymore, are unhappy or actually in a toxic situation to stay together because of a promise/“for the kids”. Studies show what this does to a child, kids who’s parents stayed together and shouldn’t have wished they got divorced. Forget accountability, having your children go thru living in a tense & tumultuous situation for the sake of yr public image is a terrible idea
