As long as Vance’s cabinet is less insane I think we’d be fine. I’m an Ohio native and that guy is just a spineless political shapeshifter. He used to be a big fat democrat before he saw his opportunity to grift with Trump. Even if his progressiveness was just performative (Middletown, OH is not anything even close to Appalachia like he pretends it is in his book)

Vance doesn’t really have any convictions other than believing that immigrants reduce wages and increase rents/housing costs and being a free speech absolutist. Unlike Trump it’s not clear where he stands on trade/tariffs, China, or taxes even
