Neither did you. You described identity politics in the laziest possible way and still got it wrong. Identity politics is about HOW power operates differently for different groups of people depending on gender, race, class etc. About HOW laws, institutions, etc were designed by default to take advantage of certain groups. This is lazy and you know it.
