They have our country so propagandized that we refuse to even try to get a third party going. Stand up for something pussies

Unfortunately, “vote blue no matter who” is still the correct position. It sucks but… its still the correct position.

They’re literally mathematically designed to fail it’s hardly our fault.

If you split the vote we get at best another R and worst another Trump term. We cannot afford either of those. There’ll be time later for that shit but right now we cannot risk it. Otherwise there will be only one party.

it would require a mass grassroots effort that works without support from mass media or social media, it would be incredibly difficult

The failure of third party politics is inescapable in a winner-takes all presidential system. Whatever two parties are closest to each other will sabotage their own chances by splitting voters, allowing the more dissimilar party to win. Parliamentary systems allow for many parties to coexist long term. Presidential systems do not.

the electoral college exists and i seriously doubt that enough of them would vote third party for it to be feasable. get rid of the electoral college and third parties do stand a chance

It’s hardly our fault? Aren’t we bigger in numbers? Shit should’ve been handled decades ago

What the fuck do you mean bigger in numbers? Our voting system is designed to prevent third parties from succeeding.

yeah, I’m not saying it’s impossible, but especially now that I doubt election infrastructure isn’t compromised, I think bypassing electoral politics altogether is a better option

No there aren’t. The “elitist system”? That’s conveniently vague. Do you mean the two party system? Because if you do, you’re wrong.

Dude our country used to revolt over a slight tax. What happened to our balls? There IS more citizens than politicians and officials, sure they have their goons to do their dirty work but. They are their own people too, there literally is more of us average folk than there is politicians

I don’t understand why you’re trying to be so mean to me man. The answer is simple: the fed is too powerful. Hence why I said it should’ve been handled decades ago

I’m not being mean to you I’m just reacting to the things you’re saying. I don’t think it’s that the fed is too powerful so much as we all have far too much to lose.

Maybe it’s worth examining why you think I’m attacking you by asking you why you aren’t personally revolting? I know that’s dickish to say, but I think it’s genuinely worth considering and I’m truly not saying it to try and be cruel to you.
