I was him this summer, renovating an old farm house because apparently I thought saving $2000+ a month on rent was a good idea. My mind has yet to recover from the asbestos I’ve probably breathed in.

I believe it. Farm houses are nice but full of bullshit. The one I lived in had wasps nests in the walls. We move in during winter, and I remember in spring sitting in my living room and hearing an electronic buzzing sound from the ceiling, and then like 8 wasps come flying out of a small hole in the ceiling lmao. Fucking death traps.

Ripped up all the carpet, replaced all the windows, tore up flooring in the upstairs portion that I don’t even use that 100% was asbestos layer flooring, painted all the walls, ripped up portions of the lawn and re-seeded it, ripped out the bathroom vanity and replaced it, tore up the kitchen flooring and replaced that 😐 I still have more to do.
