I used to be like "I'm atheist but idc if you're religious", but more and more lately I can't help but see religious people as DUMB for believing in in literal fairytales as a grown ass adult… anyone else?

At this point I don’t even let myself get riled up by them cause really the only time I talk about religion is trying to explain to Evangelical “Christians” that Jesus isn’t racist and would not be a capitalist

A lot of religion in America is larp, including any kind of supposed intellectualism. Everything is the wwe for most ppl, it’s socially engineered that way. I didn't realize I was offending so many people, I just sorta wanted to talk about the apparent rise in people on TikTok and elsewhere going out of their way to comment shit like "Jesus loves you" on your posts Or meeting girls on tinder who have "god is good" or "looking for a god fearing man" in their bio Shit is just exhausting and I wanted someone to talk about it with 🫩

I think the main difference between Reddit atheists and normal atheists is Reddit atheists say shit like “how did I offend you” They are very right wing coded with their arguments. It’s like talking to an Evangelical online vs a Normal Christian
