Yes. The entire culture of secrecy and lies that communism requires to exist created Chernobyl. If you can’t ever report shortcomings or design issues because you’re too preoccupied with dick measuring, you end up with an easily prevented meltdown

I mean the US didn’t constantly build death trap airliners to compensate for how bad their industrial base was, the US didn’t kill anyone as a result of its worst commercial nuclear accident
