 The rumor that Israel helped engineer the surge of migrants into Spain gets a bit too close to some real antisemitic theories. I am going to wait for some substantial proof before accepting it.

Morocco historically had a presence in Western Sahara. It’s not surprising that when Europeans pulled out that the North African states would want to move in on places they historically dominated. There’s always a bigger fish in the sea of states and unified polities
