We have one of those too. (TCU) It’s a rifle range on campus and we have one of the best women’s rifle programs in the country 🤔. However normal students are not allowed in there, it is just for rifle athletes. Maybe you’re allowed to go watch? Idk I never went inside)

Yeah it’s just because of title IX, they need to find expensive/obscure women’s sports to spend money on. And TCU is a rich kids school so. So rifle, equestrian, triathlon etc

yeah i’ve driven thru the area before since i’ve got family down there. the churches around there occupy like entire city blocks, it’s insane how much money that area has.
