this has happened twice in my area too. school resource officer left firearm in the holster hanging in a bathroom, and it fired when it fell as another staff member entered the bathroom. another school resource officer had their weapon fire in the holster, bullet penetrated the wall and entered the classroom on the other side. thankfully, it was empty. i’d say shots fired within a school is apt, considering the high risk & vulnerability of the space.
