humans have experience, robots don’t. unique situations come up all the time in emergency scenarios that you can’t train a robot to predict. i wouldn’t trust a robot emergency operator the same way i wouldn’t trust a robot driver or a robot doctor. there’s too many changing variables to effectively rely on a robot

Robot drivers are like orders of magnitude better than humans. And robot radiologists are orders of magnitude better than human radiologists. I enjoy living in a world with robot radiologists. I’d like to enjoy living in a world filled with robot drivers because I like being alive.

I’d like even more to live in a world where we didn’t have to rely on cars but that’s kind of a separate thing
