This is just politically illiterate take. The biggest block to reform is largely republicans having an institutional advantage in the senate. It has nothing to do with progressive people replacing other democrats.

The best way to break the cycle is to stop being politically illiterate. Democratic Liberals objectively govern better, enact more progressive legislation, and secure the highest standard of living for citizens. The only reason you think otherwise is because you let conservatives and populists shape your perspective
