It’s not implied that was happened. The Arab slave trade in Africa began in the 7th century and was an organized system of trafficking enslaved Africans across the Sahara Desert, the Red Sea, and the Indian Ocean. It lasted for over 1,300 years, with some forms continuing into the 20th century.

To be fair to you yet again, I’m guessing you somehow confused “Transatlantic” (meaning across the Atlantic Ocean) with either slave labor from Africa or with slavery based on discrimination. If either was the case, we can push that back another several hundred years to Romans taking slaves from North African conquests in Carthage or Egypt, or we can push it all the way back to Egyptian enslavement of Jews.

You specifically said Transatlantic and were using it to reply to someone discussing the Transatlantic slave trade. You are the one and only person to bring up Arabs. The Arab/Trans-Saharan slave trade is a completely different topic.

No there’s no confusion here. I know what the transatlantic slave trade is and the Arab slave trade existed during this time period. Slavery existed all the way up to Mesopotamia. It existed in every civilization.

No it’s not. I’m talking about how they got to these locations. They got to Americas because of Africans selling other African tribes. I mentioned the Arab slave trade because the transatlantic wasnt the only one. Yeah no shit I said something stupid and admitted I was wrong. It seems you can’t get over. What I said was genuinely stupid, but shit happens. People make mistakes and I owned up to it. But for some reason you won’t let it go.
