Women spent the last 4 decades demanding feminist legislation but once they actually have to start acting like equals and inherit the responsibility of equals, they get mad. Can’t wait for them to have to start registering for the draft.
I think society is trying to condition women into being providers in relationships. There’s a lot of men that now refuse to pay for dates, or pay for Ubers to get you to or from the location of the date. It’s really rubbing me the wrong way.

I don’t necessarily agree with the post but “I’m not gonna pay for this date because I thought feminists wanted to be EQUALS 🙄🙄 what happened to WOMENS RIGHTS HUH? ” isn’t the right attitude to have

Why should a man be obligated to pay? Please explain it to me without using archaic patriarchal standards as a justification.

In order for true equality, women must pay for men’s meals for the next 50 years like we have been doing forever. We have put up with enough nonsense.

So women are in debt because men insisted on setting a system up to put them in a submissive position through things like chivalry and footing the bill? It’s not like it was the woman’s choice for that culture to be established in the first place

All you people know how to do is argue in bad faith. Respond to my cogent point with a robust retort - otherwise do not waste my time.

I told you exactly the reason why men were expected to pay- it was part of how to keep women dependent on them. That’s not bad faith that’s just history. Women couldn’t open a credit card without her husband until the 70s. Financial dependence is one of the last strings that still is actively being cut. And it harms both men AND women, as you can see by your own frustration at being “expected” to pay. But your answer is spite and vitriol instead of looking at the bigger picture
