I’m a history teacher, American atrocities are regularly glazed over or even justified. They will not be in my classroom.

I mean tbf the atrocities of the American government was very much included in my public education however that doesn’t mean inaccuracies wasn’t included too

It depends what state you’re in. The curriculum is largely based on state guidelines, as well as individual school districts. It’s not as simple as government bad
