American Christians are not representative of Christianity worldwide, but how they’re treated in Israel is abhorrent and the Israelis would genocide them alongside Palestinians if doing that didn’t mean losing US support

There is a big difference between Christians in America which have relied on a white supremacist society and exist as the dominant social group and Christians in Israel which are socially disadvantaged Arabs subject to discrimination and persecution both for their religion and their ethnicity

There’s also persecution of the smaller Christian communities (which usually feel a close kinship with Palestinian Christians, which the exception of Lebanese maronites from Israeli-backed militias). The gradual destruction of Jerusalem’s Armenian quarter is the first thing that comes to mind

I feel like many people don’t realize the Christians in Israel overwhelmingly *are* Palestinians
