I predict that the DSA will turn off mainstream independents / democrats and they’ll end up voting Republican. The introduction of the DSA will confuse moderates and they’ll end up voting Republican. Make sure to thank the DSA if republicans win midterms

I’m an independent but align more closely with the DSA, only reason I’m an independent is because in principle I reject the party system and refuse to give my loyalty to a group of people who will never meaningfully attempt to help me or the American people. I recognize any party that becomes mainstream, DSA included, will fall to the corporatism and corruption that plagues Washington.
