No chance whatsoever: 12. Sophie: Yikes. Only 1 confessional and it's just about the chicken. Probably the worst edit anyone has gotten since the switch to 90 minute episodes.

Basically out of the running: 11. Kristina: Barely even ahead of Sophi in the confessional count, but the content she's gotten is significantly better. However I'm getting the vibe that she won't be getting her way often in the game. 10. Jawan: This ep was basically edited like he was about to go home and I'm not really sure what to make of that. He seems kinda blindly loyal to people that don't reciprocate. 9. MC: Got more content but it may be circumstantial and she even got undercut a bit.

Dark horses: 8. Shannon: Got dunked on even more and didn't even really do anything to overcome it. She just got bailed out by not going to tribal. 7. Sage: Continues to have good reads and successfully threw Shannon under the bus. I just don't expect her to be aligned with the people I expect to go far. 6. Steven: Nothing's really changed with him. He's still the top contender from Hina and that still isn't enough.

Flawed contender: 5. Alex: Feels weird that despite how much content he's gotten, we don't know much about his game plans at this point. Who does he want to work with? What's his strategy? What's his storyline?

Real contenders: 4. Rizo: My opinion on him hasn't really changed. Nate has simply surpassed him just like Sophi did last time. 3. Nate: Came off as very smart during the journey. I feel like he's probably the one actually calling the shots on his tribe, but Savannah gets more of the strategic content, so I'm not sure what to make of that. 2. Sophi: This was a quieter episode from her, but a cooldown makes sense, and the content she got reminded us of her underdog story again.

i wouldn’t count anybody out just based on confessional count. erika was purpled for most of the pre-merge and still didn’t get a decent amount of confessionals until the end.

Winner pick with a major asterisk: 1. Savannah: The problems with her edit that I expressed last time have only gotten worse. This mean girl content does not feel sustainable for a new era winner edit. Honestly, if it weren't for the Jenna comment on my last post, I might've dropped her. However, this episode was so over the top in that direction for her that I feel like the change of heart that I'm expecting from her is coming very soon, possibly at the merge.

Agree for the most part, I think Savannah's being shown as way too paranoid/reactionary to win and she just has a villain edit, with her getting taken out around F6/7 by the eventual winner (something like a Shan edit). I'd have Sophi and Rizo ahead of her as of now

41 tried a lot of new things that didn't stick due to fan criticism and I think the weird editing style was one of them. Especially with 90 minute episodes, I think it would be really strange for a winner's confessional count to be in the single digits for the entire pre-merge. The metric isn't perfect but it has been a fairly good indicator for most of the show's history. It's also not just about the amount of content someone gets but the substance of that content, and Sophie fails either way.

the 90 minutes is a good point, and if i had to make a call now, sophie would def be near the bottom of my list, but a lot of hina hasn’t gotten much airtime simply cuz they haven’t been to tribal yet so there’s just not much to show of them

i agree with the order of the hina members (sophie, kristina, mc, steven), but i think you might be underestimating them overall bc they haven’t gone to tribal which leads to much less airtime

tbh i would place jawan last. the show has had opportunity to show more of him yet he’s getting the edit of blindly loyal to an alliance he’s at the bottom of, and i would place steven top 3 cuz the show is going out of its way to show his thoughts and how people trust him even tho he hasn’t gone to tribal yet

I could definitely be underestimating the extent that Hina is only being underedited because they haven't gone to tribal. It felt really inexcusable pre-swap since Uli got a lot of content despite not going to tribal either, but in hindsight that could maybe just be because most of them are going to tribal now

But still it's hard to rank the Hina's much higher when there's so little to go off of. If one of their edits really takes off then I will adjust my rankings accordingly, but for now, I feel like even content that might be foreboding or circumstantial is slightly better than almost no content at all

like you, if i had to bet on anybody winning right now it would be savannah. that plus her and rizzo being back for 50 is what i attributed to uli getting much more airtime. i think rn savannah, sophi, and steven are the clear front-runners. im also being annoying and nitpicky i honestly think you have a pretty strong power ranking
