it’s hard not to have empathy for him and everything that caused his current mental state but at the same time he’s had so many opportunities to acknowledge his problems and work to fix them and he hasn’t been able to. a line was crossed several years ago and he shouldnt be able to apologize his way out of what he’s done

I think ppl are less excusing it but more saying why he does what he does. Someone who is mentally ill doesn’t have control over the things they say or has very little common sense over what they should or shouldn’t say. I feel like Kanye said the things he said not because he fully believes in them but because it would get a reaction.

And bipolar disorder is a spectrum, just because a majority of ppl don’t act like this doesn’t mean that nobody with bpd does. I wish he would get help but he is surrounded by yes men and ppl who are mentally ill usually don’t get help because they don’t see an issue.
