my cheap ass roommate who used to be my friend before i lived here had rules like no setting the thermostat above 55-60 in the winter. so when i used my space heater, she said i broke her trust and needed to ask her permission before turning it on 💀

Don’t pay her greedy ass shit. She can’t enforce that in any way. You and your other roommate(s) need to ban together and just refuse to do any of the weird bullshit she tries to pull like this. You have the numbers, just tell her no. Seriously you all sound like perfectly reasonable adults except her stop letting her have her way.

yeah i refused and told her i wasn't going to participate in the chore chart anymore (since it also involved me cleaning up parts of the apartment i never even used). the third roommate is a people pleaser and stays silent to avoid offending her. we're nice to each other but not close anymore.

I get your roommate may be a people pleaser but you need to explain to them that avoiding conflict with her will only enable her behavior. Now that you won’t allow her to walk all over you there’s a good chance she’ll turn her nonsense on them more to compensate for the loss in control.
