Literally . Walking your dog off leash is endangering themself and others. It’s similar to how outdoor cats have a higher risk of mortality and also are destroying the local ecosystem but their owners swear up and down that they’ll stay close to home and not cause trouble

I could rant about this forever. Besides LEASH LAWS, little ratty shit dogs have the dumbest owners on Earth. Their dogs can charge and snarl at my pitbull and it’s *teehee* they think they run the place. It’s not cute. I can drop the leash and my dog wont go further than 3 ft from me. But he always has the damn leash on.
