Example? A woman was walking her Doberman and these two little dogs charged and tried to attack him. The woman who had the leash pulled the Doberman away but the little dogs (who didn’t have a leash because they’re “so well behaved and don’t need one”) kept charging the big dog. THANKFULLY, the Doberman was a good boy and very well trained so even though the little dogs were being aggressive the fight was able to be deescalated and no animals were hurt.

half my neighbors don’t use leashes for probably this purpose, however everytime you walk past or pull into the parking lot theyre rushing to grab their collar… like why not just have a leash to avoid that

I’ve had little dogs come after my pitbull twice. The one lady told me “oh my dog just thinks she owns the neighborhood hehe”. No. If the situation was reversed and my dog ran down the street barking & followed you INTO your garage, you’d be calling animal control. She didn’t even try to pick the dog up to walk away, just attempted shoo him back towards her house. Absolute idiot.
