These poll results are exactly why I’ll never stop saying that the world is a dangerous place for women and always will be
Do you have a fear/worry about being stalked? (Seeing if this is just something I deal with or not)

Unlike Men, who live life in perfect safety and definitely don’t suffer more violent crime and definitely aren’t signed up to be drafted to literally die for their country by law. Why don’t men realize they have things so great?

And also the puppies and the kitties and the fishies! Who's speaking up for them?

I know you’re seriously not trying to combat this. If you think women aren’t oppressed, don’t live in more fear than men, and don’t statistically get more scary shit done to them then you’re wrong. Sexist loser.

In America women are not oppressed. They have higher baseline levels of fear due to conditioning, not due to actual higher levels of danger. Statistically, men are far more likely to die young, for a variety of reasons. Try to explain that without making a gender essentialist argument, and then maybe I’ll take your baseless claims of sexism more seriously.

Do you listen to alpha male podcasts and/or did you vote for Trump per chance? All I’m hearing is blah blah blah I’m an alpha male, these females are so dramatic, I’m maga, I’m a fucking idiot.

“Alpha male podcasts” are for insecure children. Are you done avoiding engaging with my substantive points yet? Women absolutely hold privilege in many areas of life in 2026, and I’m not the ignorant one here. Young women have higher educational attainment, better early career placements, significantly easier time finding romantic/sexual partners, and programs in high-paying careers specifically designed to privilege them over men. These are facts, not just my opinion. The year isn’t 1950.

If you have a substantive counter argument, please give it a go. If you can’t argue with my point, then continue to sling Ad Hominem nonsense and snark. Up to you.

I truly feel sorry for the women in your life. The fact of the matter is you hijacked a conversation about women's safety to basically say "Well look how bad MEN have it!" Can you see the irony of dismissing women's issues by saying men's issues are being dismissed? It should be obvious why no one wants to engage in that argument with you

It’s only obvious if your beliefs are built on dogma and you feel threatened by someone expressing that they disagree with you. The original post inherently dismisses men’s safety issues. There is no other reading of the post.

The original post squarely does NOT talk about men's safety issues, and is in fact a response to a poll in which men themselves are expressing that fear of stalking is not an issue for men. The original post DOES talk about how women are disproportionately affected by stalking, and I formed my beliefs by looking at the hard data of the poll, the testimonies in the comments, and common fucking sense

It directly implies that “danger” is something that affects women in contrast to men. No?
