I feel like “Not every trans person wants HRT” and “The trans people who do want HRT should be allowed to get it” are both true statements.

i didn’t read this post as transphobia in any way. to me, it doesn’t come across as putting blame on any group of trans people or even arguing against the fact that you don’t need hrt to be trans. the “so called” line is a bit odd to me but it could’ve easily just been poor wording i think. i don’t sense hostility but i can understand how it may come across that way i suppose… though i am also not always the best at picking up tone over text

they are. but let’s not pretend that one group of trans people are the ones creating the oppression of the other. Cis transphobes are to blame. Even if all trans people were on hrt and passing the transphobes would still find a a reason to deny us care.

I agree. If anything, they want us to in-fight. It benefits them.

the “so called” line to me seemed like it was trying to say that the concept of one trans person being more valid than another is stupid, which i completely agree with

Great use of the Relative Privation fallacy. I’m trans. I KNOW MY RIGHTS ARE BEING TAKEN AWAY. I’m still allowed to be upset at trans med propaganda. Making this yikyak post does not prevent me from protesting and calling my representatives

It's quite literally saying that acknowledging the fact that "you don't need HRT to be trans" is the thing that's directly leading to our oppression by cis people. Trans people who don't need HRT are not the ones causing our oppression. If you have any doubts about the intentions of this post, you might want to look into trans meds a bit more.
