like, don’t we all already have our own communities? Like bi people feel community w each other, gay men with each other, etc. it’s just we’re all also in a greater community and that’s a great thing. I think what people really want to say is “X group needs to separate from the LGBT+ community” which is a terrible idea and if that’s what they mean they need to say it clearly.
