Dude I literally was talking (briefly) with a 35 year old when I was 20 - I decided to back out of going on a date tho because it was giving me the ick how they were a grown ass adult trying to work around drinking age laws so we could go out together lol

it definitely just becomes more of a subjective thing somewhere around the age of 30. like I think there’s more room for a variety of opinions past that threshold because at that point you’re no longer “new to being an adult” in the same way

eh i think it’s a bit odd personally but it’s not crazy / kinda weird. life feels like it goes quick because there’s no more new stuff. after 33-34 it’s all the same so who cares.

I agree with this take, though I’d say mid-thirties is when I’ve noticed a true shift after speaking with the 30-40 year olds I know
