Okay there NEEDS to be nuance to this!! If the queer community is to gain any social validity and credit then it is through solidarity with cis straight people. Not allies, but accomplices who march with us and fight with us to defend human dignity
hot take but if trans women aren’t allowed in “women’s spaces” i don’t think heterosexual cis women should be allowed in queer spaces. No gay bars, no pride, no nothing🤷🏼‍♀️

NO, we don’t. 1) These are issues or human rights; if people don’t agree with that then they are not going to be reliable allies in the future. 2) if we cede an inch they’ll demand a mile. We cannot allow the Overton Window to shift any further right.

there are so many spaces for queer people and allies tf are you talking about. they do not need access to every space.

But are they actually allies or do they want to use our spaces for their own benefit? Yes, there can be nuance, but we need to be cautious

I’m not saying they need access to every space and they certainly do not need access to gay bars

Straight people shouldn’t be in gay bars but they can be at pride rallies
