I understand what you’re saying but if you believe that all cis people are transphobic then that’s a problem. It’s one thing to worry about safety but it’s another thing to generalize.

Yes but let’s also not forget that it is a fact that cis people are more likely to be transphobic and bigoted to trans people and trans people have every right to be weary of them!

Tbh almost all cis people are a LITTLE transphobic, just out of ignorance. I don’t hate them for that, it just takes extra patience and I get trans folks who prefer the company of their own community. And before I get flamed, 90% of my friends are cis and my boyfriend is cis, and I try to educate them because it’s not their fault we live in a transphobic world

I saw your other comment about being from an area that’s more transphobic, that’s understandable but cis people as a whole (ignoring specific areas) are actually not as likely to be transphobic, despite that there are a significant amount of transphobic people so being scared is fair.

Everyone has prejudiced opinions/beliefs unfortunately, and we must all do our best to unlearn them. I wouldn’t consider one a bigot for holding these beliefs as long as they are actively deconstructing them and acknowledge that such believes are wrong and harmful
