especially considering the reason lesbian isolation exists is because how hard it is to find women who aren’t somewhat male centered. men take up so much of our lives that it’s almost impossible to picture ourselves without them. it’s entire point of comphet. we grow up as little girls watching princes and princesses, heterosexual romcoms, cute boybands. it’s so difficult for us to realize we were just holding on to feel normal. she’s reeks of ignorance and privilege.
