
They’re both incredibly detrimental. I was very skinny when I was dancing and then my metabolism slowed way down when I stopped for a few years and I gained a lot of weight. So I can say that I’ve gotten derogatory remarks both about being too skinny and too overweight, people trying to force feed me things I don’t even eat, people giving me unsolicited diet advice, etc., and both took a huge toll on my mental health.
