i agree. but that number should be lowered by getting rid of the criminals, drug dealers, and gang members. not families.

So you don’t agree. That means an unlimited number of migrants as long as they are families

families as in children. innocent children.

That’s wrong, but okay? If you think citizenship deems them legal you’re wrong. Most immigrants are already beginning the immigration process before leaving their country of origin through family sponsors, employment based sponsors, and refugee asylum pathways (usually applied for outside of the US), some apply inside or at ports of entry. Legal immigrants usually start by finding a qualifying pathway before even entering the US

Basically what I’m saying is shame on undocumented immigrants who didn’t go through the processes of legal immigration. Undocumented immigrants are different than those who are in the immigration process. Most of the arrests happening now are people who have overstayed visas or are here undocumented.

doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to be here.

Undocumented immigrants don’t deserve to be here. If I’m to travel to a foreign country I need to have a passport to identify myself, and also have a visa if I plan on staying for prolonged periods of time (which undocumented immigrants do neither of or abuse). Why is us deporting undocumented, illegal immigrants any different than a foreign country doing it to us? And if you have a problem with it here, why not protest every other country in the world?

I don’t think you understand the situation people are coming from. Some people have no choice n this risk their lives to migrate. I think as a country of people who are all European Immigrants a few generations ago. Some grace should be given

Cool story bro. Anyway, we are allowed to limit migration numbers. Also only 10% of asylum applications are granted. It’s mostly fraud

I understand that grace should be given, and I’m not saying there shouldn’t be grace, I’m saying that as soon as those people reach America they can apply for asylum. I’m targeted more towards the people that don’t apply for anything and don’t even make an effort to become at least a legal immigrant, more so a citizen.

I understand completely where you’re coming from. I also think that some of the asylum stuff going on is fraud, people just applying for it and actually making no steps towards citizenship. I also agree we should be able to put a “quota” on immigration

Actually a lot of those illegal immigrants are criminals. Yes, I agree that grace should be given to the people looking for a better life. But problems occur when we let whoever flood into our country without knowing who they are. Thousands of Americans have either died or been assaulted at the hands of illegal immigrants. This is why it’s important that we make people go through certain processes when they come here. It’s just chaos when we don’t.

Because many of the countries that these people emigrate from are countries destabilized by the US.

Nobody “deserves” to be here. Immigrants and guests and they should be grateful that we allow any immigration at all. We would be better off without them scamming us by some politicians have a white savior complex and are willing to sacrifice their country for it. Immigrants don’t make the country better, that’s a complete cope

The US was quite literally built on immigration. The US was never homogeneous.

Yes it was built on immigration, like most other countries. As a country grows and begins to prosper more, you start having to limit things like immigration, especially illegal immigration. In the civilized society of America, undocumented and illegal immigrants can be a direct threat to the society itself. You act like every other country on Earth doesn’t enforce immigration laws. Every country on Earth has been colonized, and has had mass immigration, especially if they are successful.

They quite literally are not a threat. Statistically you are safer in a neighborhood with undocumented immigrants than you are with US citizens. Also it’s insane to me how Europeans came to this country a few hundred years ago, murdered and rape the natives and took their land then a few hundred years in the future destabilize countries and get pissy when the refugees come to this country.

Hey bro, news for the unemployed. Colonization was worldwide. A person that has no identity within the US isn’t a threat? What happens when they commit a crime? In case you forgot there have been over 80 victims of violence, rape, etc. from undocumented immigrants. Do you agree with sex and drug trafficking coming across the border? Do you know how often countries are destabilized? Mostly due to government coups from within, but also dictators making it a living hell for people within.

Texas DPS “illegal noncitizens” that were charged between 2011 and 2025 btw. Just within Texas -7,608 sexual assault charges and 8,647 sexual offense charges -77,843 assault charges -1,112 homicide charges

What does colonization being worldwide have to do with what we are talking about? The happenings globally don’t matter to me because I don’t live in every country ever. I live in the US. Hey so most drugs and sex trafficking (over 95%) are from citizens. Again statistically you are safer in a neighborhood with undocumented immigrants than US citizens. Also I apologize for the destabilized country part.

It’s been proven that most of the drug trafficking and sex trafficking are coming through the southern border. If you look up the statistics you can see that those numbers have dropped drastically since the border has been secured. You’re right citizens contribute 80% to drug trafficking, but regardless they’re being put through the border by cartels, which are then trafficked through the US by citizens. The US citizens who are trafficking drugs usually are cartel connected.

So what you’re saying is you agree with me? Undocumented immigrants arent the issue, it’s citizens. Rather than focus on internal undocumented immigrants, the focus should be external US citizens.
