because bringing a child into the world is infinitely more complex than people (especially men) tend to realize. them citing thinking that having a mini me would be cool as a main reason is completely ignorant to all of the work it takes. i just believe it's a reflection of how patenting is often much harder on mothers than fathers

Yk what that’s a valid take it’s definitely way more complex than that for women but in no way shape or form I think having a mini me is their absolute answer it’s most likely a summary and you shouldn’t judge people based off that

Nah I got what u were saying. But plenty of people say that and just cuz they say that doesn’t mean that’s why they want kids. U can’t fault people for wanting their kids to look like them

i understand that. i'm talking about those that use that as their only/main reason, obviously (again) there's nothing wrong with people wanting their kids to look like them, but that's not what i was trying to say anyway
