if that girl wanted to get that baseline message across, she could have said it in a similar way to you. but instead she chose to make it about religion, and insinuated that those who aren't godly belong to the devil. feigning ignorance goes both ways, lets not pretend that many christian's (at least the ones who post shit like that) don't have a massive superiority complex over those who don't believe the same as them
You don’t need to dumb down rhetoric just because you frame it in a spiritual way. Or shouldn’t have to at least. I agree maybe she should’ve now because how did you get, “people who aren’t godly belong to them devil” from this?🤨 And yes some do as there’s bad apples in any group but it’s clear the hate for religion is impeding comprehension because again this is a simple statement about wicked ppl who get benefit from bad behavior and good people who lose because they do not delight in evil
To delight in sin is the meaning there. It’s not ambiguous. You’re projecting intent that isn’t actually there. It’s literally an observation of society that exists in many layers, even in other religions like attachment and suffering in Buddhism. It’s not a statement that says non believers are evil. Disliking, having contempt for, or believing religious ppl talk about social issues from the grounds of superiority is personal. It’s an overstatement of the intent of this TikTok
people look at things through different lens. people of all religions will have this similar messaging. people with different political beliefs, views of the world. the messaging is ultimately the same. there’s 8 billion people. bound to be billions of different perspectives that will include the surrounding beliefs of that individual. that doesn’t mean what they’re saying is wrong when you look at it in relation to how the world truly is
