Sooo herpes isn’t usually included on std panels…they don’t include it cause it’s very difficult to get accurate results from a test unless you have active symptoms (something to do with the antibodies). Also doctors don’t feel as much urgency when it comes to herpes cause for most people it’s benign/never present

It’s not included on std panels AND the blood test is extremely inaccurate. If you want a certain diagnosis you have to get an open sore swabbed.
