i read something today that apparently some states had an approach to teaching kids how to read that was basically teaching them to assume what the word/sentence was before u finished reading it, which makes total sense for why ppl read Thing A and assume it’s Thing B. it’s called the Three Cues method, i have a podcast saved abt it that i plan on listening to bc it’s wild
