if you think about it it’s valid..men are socialized to view sex as a conquest and will do next to anything to achieve it. women are socialized to be “earned” or play “hard to get” so a man’s virginity and a women’s virginity are likely coming from two completely different ideologies

nah maybe he wants sex to be meaningful, maybe he’s just been focused on school for some time, maybe he had been working through some insecurity or physical health issues that he wanted to get a handle on before a relationship, there are so many reasons. also virginity is a social construct anyways i don’t think it’s that serious

i understand ur caution, but isn’t this attitude also perpetuating the same patriarchal values towards men? i treat men with more caution than i do women, but i also think that forgetting to think of ur average man as a person too isn’t the right way to treat others. obvs do what u feel is right and safe for urself tho
