I was freaking out last night bc my friend made a joke about me being the only virgin in the room and I feel like I have had chances but I’m just too scared to go through with it. They was just kidding but fml it hurt my damn feelings. It’s so stupid. Virginity doesn’t mean anything, whether you have it or not.
Literally. I’m not in any rush bc I know it’s gonna be painful. I have endo and it hurts so badly for tampon or annual visits and I just know it’s gonna suck. I’m honestly scared and concerned about a partner understanding. That’s why I never bring it up to people so they don’t feel rushed or insecure whether it’s personal preference or medically related
AMEN SISTER. I only lost mine like three something weeks ago? And I’m 22. I literally only lost it because I finally felt like losing it. Absolutely no rush or pressure and if you don’t feel ready it is so not worth it. It’s traumatic to try and lose it if you’re not ready to lose it (speaking from experience), and anyone pressuring u or giving u shit for not wanting to rush it should be completely ignored. DO YOU GIRL.
ugh even in high school I didn’t want to talk about having sex because I didn’t want my friends to feel weird or pressured to catch up. honestly I wasn’t even sure if my boyfriend truly felt ready or if he just initiated because he felt like he was supposed to. everyone moves at their own pace and it literally does not matter at all as long as you’re doing what YOU want
As someone who understands your fear of pain and is very sensitive in that area, I promise it doesn’t have to be painful. Don’t ever feel the need to force yourself to be in pain just to get it over and done with the first time. You should be with the right person who wants to take things slowly, bit by bit, until it gets easier for you. You still may experience some discomfort and annoyance at the time it takes, but I PROMISE, pain does not have to be your reality.
