This was perhaps the least combative & least obvious post about ditching your bum boyfriend & trying to enjoy the company of a diverse community & people are still arguing for why centering your life around one man was the answer to all their problems.

all love to girls in loving relationships, but i wish more women would give being single a chance. i cannot wait to have a little home to myself, shared with animals, decorated to my tastes, forging my own path, not worried about men or kids for a while.

Really, they HAVE to bring up men in a post that is about embracing the good you can have in your life without them. Like yes, you love your bf, but I would’ve loved to see more comments talking about why they like being single under a post about… enjoying singleness.

right?? and even if they WERE miserable single, i don’t know why they can’t just scroll. i swear to god any post on here that so much as hints at a happy fulfilling life OUTSIDE of dating/marriage is flooded with comments talking about Actually it’s the best thing in the world 🥺 you just need to find the right person 🥺🥺
